First Cut
We decided to go with a title font that would reflect our sort of creepy/suspenseful theme. Kayla was also able to add in an effect that made the words twitch in and out of frame which I thought was really cool. The effects and sound were relatively minimal. Instead of dialogue, there's eerie music playing in the background. It becomes a lot more intense during the chase scene. There's no excess background noise so that the sound of cars/people wouldn't interfere with the story. The transitions consisted of simple cuts to keep it fast paced/provide continuity in shot that had to be spliced. The main issue we encountered during editing was with uploading the finished product to YouTube. I was the only one with an account, but Kayla had the footage. It took some trial and error before we got that sorted out. There was some additional filming done by Kayla at her house because we were a bit short on time. We originally only had about 1:10 of footage so we asked if she could add a "prologue" before the killing.
